Ukrainian Foreign Minister says he will not compromise on sovereignty

On March 18, Jinshi Data reported that the Ukrainian Foreign Minister stated on Tuesday that Ukraine will not accept any peace protocol that harms its sovereignty or territorial integrity, or limits its ability to join military alliances. This statement comes just before the call between the leaders of the United States and Russia. Ukrainian Deputy Foreign Minister Andriy Sybiha stated that Ukraine will not accept any limitations on its military capabilities, nor will it recognize Russia’s occupation of any territory. Sybiha said, ‘We are not the obstacle to peace. We do expect Russia to agree to a ceasefire unconditionally.’
