Over 170,000 people have entered Syria from Lebanon in the past week for refuge.

According to Syrian media on September 30th, due to the escalation of conflicts between Israel and Hezbollah in Lebanon, over 170,000 people have entered Syria as refugees in the past week. In addition, the United Nations Refugee Agency in Syria stated on the same day that it is estimated that over 100,000 people have entered Syria from Lebanon to escape the war in the past week, of which at least 60% are Syrians. According to United Nations statistics, there are currently over 1 million Syrian refugees stranded in Lebanon.
