Market Analysis: The depreciation of the US dollar may drop the inflation rate of American trading partners.

Jin10 reported on April 14 that Thu Lan Nguyen, an analyst at Deutsche Bank, stated that due to Trump’s tariff policy, the depreciation of the dollar may drop the inflation rate of U.S. trading partners. She said, “If this situation continues, most Central Banks will not find themselves in a dilemma: weighing economic and inflation risks.” This will allow for further interest rate cuts, thereby alleviating the appreciation pressure of non-dollar currencies against the dollar. She noted that for now, the effects of the tariffs seem extremely unlikely to reverse.
