This also means that the long-standing concerns about quantum computing posing a threat to Bitcoin seem to be becoming unprecedentedly real. According to a study published Wednesday in the journal Nature, Google's 105 Quantum Bit “Willow” chip successfully ran a physical algorithm faster than any classical computer — marking the first experimental verification of quantum advantage on real hardware.
