The China-U.S. trade teams held talks in London for over six hours, focusing on export control issues.
According to Gate News bot, U.S. and Chinese trade negotiators held talks in London that lasted more than six hours. The two sides will continue their consultations on the second day. The main topic of this round of negotiations is in the area of export control. The U.S. side has proposed to the Chinese side that the U.S. side will review the lifting of recent export restrictions on chip design software, jet engine parts, chemicals and nuclear materials, provided that China lifts restrictions on rare earth exports. However, the US side made it clear that high-end Nvidia H2O chips involving artificial intelligence are not within the scope of this discussion.
