What are Market Makers (MM)?
Everyone has heard of MM or Market Makers, right? They are simply creators that include exchanges, financial institutions, investment funds, and whales… all of them are part of this group.
🔹 Their benefits: They provide us liquidity. When we trade, our orders are executed thanks to them, not just by the platform or direct buyers/sellers. They maintain the liquidity of the coins while filling their pockets with the differences and commissions. When a new cryptocurrency appears, they are the ones who truly control whether it goes up or down.
🔸 The disadvantages for us: artificial pumpings, price control, constant liquidity scanning and, of course, the removal of our stop loss (! Ha! ). Let's not fool ourselves, they manipulate the entire market because they have the money and power to do so. And the worst part: they operate without state control.
🐳 Here are the pros and cons. Yes, they provide liquidity and a level playing field, but they also know perfectly well how to take our money away. I always say they know how to excite us and then leave us desperate.
What do you think? Are they good or bad? Share your opinion and let's discuss it.
