Limoneira stumbles: revenues fall 25% in the third quarter 🍋📉

Tough times for Limoneira. Their fiscal third-quarter numbers for 2025 don't look good. Revenue: $47.5 million, a 25% decrease from last year. Ouch. 💸

Earnings per share plummeted. From $0.42 to ($0.02). It seems profitability has evaporated. Adjusted EBITDA also sank by 78.3%. Only $3.0 million. 📊

Avocados and lemons, in free fall. Avocado revenue: -38.8%. Fresh lemons: -7.8%. The company blames the avocado production cycles. Sounds like an excuse, doesn't it? 🥑🌳

But watch out, the company is not giving up. They maintain their annual forecasts. They expect to deliver between 4.5 and 5.0 million boxes of lemons and 7.0 million pounds of avocados. Optimistic, I would say. 🚛

Plans in motion: merging operations with Sunkist Growers. They promise savings of $5 million per year. We'll see if it works. 🤝💰

Not everything is bad. The real estate business shines a little. They received $10.0 million from Harvest at Limoneira in April. Something is something. 🏗️💼

The future? Uncertain. Limoneira needs to improve in agriculture and make the most of its properties. It won't be easy. 🌱🏠

We will be on the lookout. This story promises more twists. Don't forget the lemons! 🔍🚀
