Gold Finance reports that South Korea will establish a Lembaga Perlindungan Penggunaan Aset Digital (Digital Asset User Protection Fund) to help users affected by the closure of exchanges recover trapped funds. The fund, initiated by the self-regulatory organization DAXA and approved by the Financial Services Commission (FSC) of South Korea, is scheduled to launch in October. With 10 out of 22 exchanges in South Korea already closed and 3 others suspended, the security of user funds has become a priority. The fund will negotiate with the closed exchanges to transfer user funds and virtual assets to bank accounts managed by the fund, and then contact users to arrange the refund process.
