On October 23, established asset management firm T. Rowe Price submitted an S-1 application to the SEC, intending to launch its first crypto ETF. The company currently manages $1.77 trillion in assets. According to the disclosure materials released on Wednesday, the product named “T. Rowe Price Active Crypto ETF” will adopt an active management strategy, aiming to outperform the FTSE Crypto US Listed Index, which tracks the performance of the top ten crypto assets listed in the United States, over a period of one year or longer. The documents indicate that the fund will invest in “qualified” cryptocurrencies, including Bitcoin, Ethereum, Solana, XRP, Cardano, Avalanche, Litecoin, Polkadot, Dogecoin, HBAR, Bitcoin Cash, Chainlink, Lumen, and Shiba Inu.
