Russia's new encryption regulations will be implemented on November 1, strengthening mining and transaction supervision

Golden Finance reported that Russia will implement new laws on November 1st to further strengthen the regulation of cryptocurrency. The law allows the government to restrict cryptocurrency mining based on regional needs and grants multiple federal agencies the authority to monitor transactions in order to combat money laundering and terrorist financing. In addition, the management of registered miners will be transferred to the Federal Tax Service, and businesses and individual merchants must comply with the new registration requirements, while individual miners can continue mining without registration as long as they comply with electricity consumption restrictions.
